The leader of the Islamic Jihad movement, the detainee Khader Adnan (44 years old), continues his open hunger strike inside the occupation prisons for the 56th day in a row, in rejection of his arbitrary detention, as he lives in harsh conditions in solitary confinement cells at Al-Jalama interrogation center.
The Mohjat al-Quds Foundation for the Martyrs, Prisoners, and Injuries said, in a statement today, Saturday: “A sudden deterioration occurred in the health of the prisoner, Khader Adnan, who continues his open hunger strike for the 56th day in a row, in rejection of his arbitrary detention.”
It added: “The Occupation Prisons Administration transferred Sheikh Khader Adnan to Kaplan Hospital, where he refused to undergo examinations or receive treatment, and then returned him to the Ramla clinic prison.”
