Settlers attack citizens in occupied Jerusalem

Israeli settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, attacked today, Saturday, citizens in Al-Wad Street in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem.

Local sources reported that settlers stormed Al-Wad Street, assaulted a number of citizens by spraying pepper gas, and smashed storefronts, under the protection of the occupation forces, who arrested a young man – whose identity has not yet been known – from the place.

In addition, two young men were injured when they were assaulted by the occupation forces and sprayed with pepper gas near Bab Al-Hadid in Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The occupation forces arrested a young man after assaulting him near the Chain Gate, one of the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The occupation forces arrested the young Abdel Nasser Al-Ledawiyah, after raiding and searching his family’s house in the town.

A number of settlers also gathered in the vicinity of a number of the gates of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and performed provocative dances in the place.
