Israeli ambassador to the United Nations, Gilad Ardan, criticized, on Sunday, US President Joe Biden for ignoring Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, not inviting him to the White House, and publicly criticizing the judicial reforms led by the latter’s government.
Ardan said in an interview with the Hebrew Channel 7, prior to his speech at a conference of the channel that will be held tonight, that “the problematic position that Biden took towards Netanyahu is a grave and grave mistake.”
Ardan considered that this is not the best way for friends to behave among themselves, even in the presence of differences, stressing the importance of joint relations between Israel and the United States, especially since the former are the closest allies of the latter.
