Israeli occupation demolishes two houses in Ramallah and Jerusalem

Israeli forces stand guard around a building being demolished by army bulldozers in the Palestinian city of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank on October 31, 2022. Israel regularly razes homes built by Palestinians in east Jerusalem and the occupied West Bank if they lack the relevant construction permits. The catch, according to an UN study, is that such permits are "virtually impossible" to obtain, and the result is a chronic housing shortage. (Photo by HAZEM BADER / AFP)

Israeli occupation bulldozers demolished today, Tuesday, a house in the western town of Al-Mazra’a, northwest of Ramallah.

According to local sources, these bulldozers, accompanied by the occupation forces, demolished the house of As’ad Ghazi Shreiteh, located in the “Ain Harasha” area, with an area of about 100 square meters.

It should be noted that the occupation did not notify the owners of the house of its intention to demolish the house, as the house was built more than 20 years ago.

In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli vehicles demolished a house belonging to the Totah family, in the Wadi al-Joz neighborhood, under the pretext of unauthorized construction.
