Israeli occupation forces today shot and wounded three Palestinian young men and detained two of them in the West Bank city of Jenin.
The occupation forces shot three young men and detained two of them near the al-Jalboni roundabout in al-Basateen neighborhood of Jenin, said head of the ambulance unit of the Red Crescent in Jenin, Mahmoud Al-Saadi.
He added Israeli forces opened fire on three young men and detained two of them after preventing the ambulance crews’ access to them. The third injured man, who was shot by several bullets, was transferred to Hospital.
Meanwhile, clashes broke out between Palestinians who marched at the northern entrance to al-Bireh city to condemn the ongoing Israeli aggression against Jenin camp since dawn today.
Forces stationed at the Israeli military checkpoint at the entrance fired rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas canisters at protesters, however, no injuries or arrests were reported.
Eight Palestinians have been so far killed and 50 were injured in the ongoing large-scale Israeli air and land assault on Jenin.
Israeli occupation army launched a major assault on Jenin since dawn today, starting with airstrikes before dozens of military vehicles and several hundred soldiers raided the city, concentrating on its refugee camp.
