The Israeli occupation forces today detained 10 Palestinians in the occupied territories, including a girl from Ramallah who was briefly detained after she was arrested at an Israeli army checkpoint north of Ramallah, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society and other sources.
Among the detainees were two youths from Silwan neighborhood in occupied East Jerusalem and a third from the town of Izzariyeh, southeast of Jerusalem.
The army also raided the homes of Palestinians and detained two youths from the village of Kufr Nimeh, west of Ramallah, two others from the village of Silat al-Daher and Tura, south of Jenin, but later released the detainee from Tura, one was detained from the town of Yatta, south of Hebron, and another from Qalqilya city.
