Five Palestinians were injured, one of them by a live bullet, when Israeli soldiers opened fire at Palestinian youths who confronted the soldiers in the village of Shuqba, northwest of Ramallah, according to medics.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said that the other four were injured by rubber-coated metal bullets.
The confrontations broke out after soldiers raided the village, said Palestinian security sources.
A 33-year-old Shuqba resident was earlier shot and killed by Israeli soldiers near a checkpoint at the village of Deir Natham, west of Ramallah.
