Rampaging Israeli settlers attacked passing Palestinian vehicles last night near the northern entrance to the town of Huwara, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.
Dozens of settlers gathered near the Salman Alfarisy junction located at the north entrance to the town, where they launched an attack on Palestinian-owned vehicles with stones. No injuries or damages were reported as a result of the attack.
Attacks by Israeli settlers have been a frequent occurrence in various parts of the West Bank, and have often resulted in injuries and property damage.
The latest attack is yet another example of the ongoing suffering faced by Palestinians living under Israeli settler occupation in the West Bank. The incident comes in the wake of a series of similar attacks by settlers on Palestinian property and individuals.
Last February, Israeli settlers carried out a pogrom in the town of Huwara, setting fire to Palestinian vehicles, shops and fields and murdering a humanitarian worker, with no intervention from the Israeli army and police.
