Three injured by Israeli army gunfire near Jenin were among 18 Palestinians the Israeli occupation forces detained this morning in the occupied West Bank, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society and other sources.
Soldiers opened fire this morning at four Palestinian youths near Yabad, southwest of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, and detained three of them after injuring them, said the PPS. The fourth, who was critically injured, was taken to a hospital in Jenin.
In Nablus and its district in the north of the West Bank, soldiers detained four Palestinians, including two siblings.
In the south of the West Bank, soldiers detained four people from Bethlehem and Aida refugee camp, north of the city, two were detained from Hebron city and nearby Dura.
Four, including two siblings from Beit Rima and two other siblings from Aroura, were detained during army raids at the two Ramallah-area villages.
One Palestinian was also detained in the Old City of occupied East Jerusalem.
