Several Palestinian residents of a West Bank town receive Israeli stop-work and construction orders

The Israeli occupation authorities today handed stop work and construction orders to several households in the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, west of the northern West Bank city of Salfit.

The town’s mayor, Ibrahim Assi, said that a large army force broke into several homes in the western section of the town and handed them stop work and construction orders.

He said 23 orders were issues affecting houses under construction, a dump site, an agricultural structure, and two streets in the town under the pretext of construction without a permit in an area controlled by Israel.

The stop work or construction order means the structure will be eventually demolished.
