Ongoing Israeli offensive claims more innocent lives across Gaza

An undetermined number of innocent civilians were killed and numerous others injured today as Israeli forces go ahead with their relentless aerial and ground assault on Gaza for the 88th consecutive day, according to reports from local and medical sources.

Various regions throughout the Gaza Strip bore the brunt of Israeli airstrikes conducted by fighter jets and drones, coupled with continuous artillery bombardment and a ground offensive in the northern and southern parts of the enclave. These assaults resulted in a significant loss of life, injuries, and extensive damage to civilian properties and homes.

The central area of Gaza, particularly Juhor al-Dik, witnessed a devastating Israeli airstrike, while the northern and eastern sectors of Gaza City were subjected to artillery shelling.

Israeli forces also conducted airstrikes targeting the entrance of the Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza. Additionally, the Qandil building in the nearby Al-Maghazi refugee camp was a focal point of Israeli occupation forces. Furthermore, artillery bombardment struck Tower 2 of the Ein Jalout Towers in central Gaza.

During the previous night, an Israeli bombardment struck a house in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza, resulting in the tragic loss of at least 15 civilians, primarily women and children, with several others sustaining injuries.

Another airstrike hit a house in the Nuseirat refugee camp, causing additional casualties. Moreover, numerous civilians faced injuries due to Israeli artillery shelling targeting downtown Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.

Israeli forces persist in their aggressive genocide campaign on the Gaza Strip for the 88th consecutive day, leading to the heart-wrenching loss of at least 22,000 lives and injuries to 56,000 others, predominantly children and women. The toll continues to climb, with thousands still unaccounted for beneath the rubble, according to health authorities.
