Prisoners for Palestine (P4P) warned that eight hunger strikers, including Heba Muraisi, face risk of organ failure as the protest enters its third month.
P4P reported that Palestine Action activist Heba Muraisi is on remand for more than a year over Palestine-related activism and she has now reached 64 of hunger strike, the longest-serving hunger striker amongst the group.
Muraisi told P4P that she has been experiencing muscle spasms and twitches in her arm, and at times feels like she is holding her breath. Last week, another hunger striker, Kamran Ahmed, was hospitalized for the fifth time since beginning his hunger strike.
