Breaking | Hamas Condemns Israeli Settlement Expansion in the West Bank
Hamas strongly condemned Israel’s cabinet approval of the construction of 34 new settlements across the West Bank, describing the move as part of a broader strategy of “Judaization” and annexation aimed at imposing facts on the ground amid regional and international distraction.
The group said the plan, like previous settlement expansions, is “void and illegitimate” and will not change the realities on the ground or grant Israel any legitimacy, stressing that Palestinians will remain steadfast in their land and continue resisting policies of displacement and annexation.
Hamas called on the Arab League, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the United Nations to take urgent and concrete action to stop the policies of the “Netanyahu government” and to hold Israel accountable for violations of international law and UN resolutions.
