A Girl Killed, Others Wounded as Israeli Ceasefire Violations Continue in Gaza.

Gunfire Hits Homes in Jabalia and Gaza City.

A young girl was killed and others wounded on Sunday as Israeli forces continued violating the Gaza ceasefire agreement. Local sources reported that Palestinians were wounded by Israeli military gunfire in the Halawa camp in Jabalia, northern Gaza. In contrast, Israeli military vehicles fired intensely toward civilian homes near al-Mahatta Mosque on Yafa Street in the Tuffah neighborhood, northeast of Gaza City.

Death Toll Since the Truce Climbs to 1,258.

According to Palestinian Health Ministry data, the death toll since the ceasefire took effect on October 10 of last year has risen to 1,258, alongside 4,139 wounded and 807 bodies recovered from rubble during that same period. The cumulative toll from the broader Israeli assault on Gaza since October 7, 2023 has reached approximately 73,386 killed and 174,250 wounded — figures that underscore the continued heavy human cost of Israel’s ongoing military activity in the Strip, even nearly ten months after the ceasefire agreement was meant to end major hostilities.
