Palestinian child struck in eye with Israeli rubber-coated metal bullet undergoes enucleation

A 5-year-old child struck in the eye yesterday by an Israeli rubber bullet during confrontations that erupted near the village of Bazaria, northwest of northern West Bank city of Nablus, today underwent enucleation at the city’s al-Najah Hospital.

He said the doctors removed the eye of Khaled Akram Malalha after he was shot in the eye while he was in his father’s vehicle.
