Death toll of Israeli aggression on Gaza rises to 198, 1,610 injured

The death toll of the ongoing brutal Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 198, with 1,610 others injured, since early today morning, according to an update by the Ministry of Health.

Nine deaths were documented this evening in the Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, five others to Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, and two to Abu Yousef Al-Najjar Hospital in Rafah.

Meantime, an Israeli fighter jet targeted a residential building near the Al-Shati refugee camp west of Gaza City with a missile, resulting in the injury of at least six civilians and causing severe damage to the targeted structure and nearby homes. Furthermore, six Israeli rockets struck a location in the Ansar area west of Gaza City, completely destroying it and causing damage to adjacent residential buildings.

Israeli warplanes also carried out airstrikes on medical personnel in Gaza. One of the airstrikes targeted an ambulance at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, while the other struck the Indonesian Hospital in Beit Lahia in northern Gaza. These attacks resulted in casualties among civilians, including individuals in critical condition.

Israeli occupation forces fired dozens of concussion rockets into agricultural lands in the border areas east and north of Gaza, causing damage to nearby homes.
