A report by the "Mo'ta" Palestine Information Center revealed a marked increase in the frequency of violations committed by Israeli occupation forces and settlers in the occupied West Bank. The center documented 1,359 violations between June 12 and June 18, 2026—an indicator reflecting the ongoing escalation on the ground across various Palestinian governorates.
According to the report, occupation forces carried out 230 incursions targeting Palestinian cities, towns, and refugee camps, accompanied by a heavy military presence and searches of homes and facilities. Additionally, 108 cases of arrest and detention involving Palestinians—including young men and formerly released prisoners—were recorded during various raids and incursions.
The report documented 63 shooting incidents by occupation forces, resulting in injuries of varying severity to 45 Palestinians, amidst the continued use of live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, and tear gas during incursions and confrontations across various parts of the West Bank.
Regarding restrictive measures, the center documented 338 instances of restrictions at military checkpoints throughout the West Bank; these included obstructing Palestinian movement, inspecting IDs, and closing the entrances to numerous cities and villages. The report also recorded 52 cases of road and area closures, which restricted freedom of movement and exacerbated the suffering of the local population.
The report indicated that occupation forces carried out 275 raids on Palestinian homes and facilities, involving searches, acts of vandalism, and the confiscation of private property. It also recorded 75 instances of demolition and destruction affecting Palestinian homes, facilities, and property, as part of a demolition policy targeting Palestinian communities across the West Bank.
Regarding settler violence, the "Mo'ta" Center documented 135 attacks committed by settlers against Palestinians and their property—including physical assaults, the destruction of crops, and attacks on homes and vehicles—carried out with the protection or support of occupation forces in various areas.
The report also recorded 28 incidents of assault and the confiscation of Palestinian property, alongside eight violations targeting Islamic and Christian holy sites, amidst ongoing incursions by settlers into religious and archaeological locations. Furthermore, it documented one violation affecting the education sector—part of the continuous pattern of violations impacting various aspects of Palestinian life.
This escalation in violations coincides with ongoing Israeli military operations in the occupied Palestinian territories and a rise in settler attacks across several West Bank governorates.
