Ramallah Area Hit Hardest, Settler Attack on Turmus Ayya
Israeli forces carried out a broad campaign of raids and arrests on Wednesday across cities, towns, and refugee camps throughout the occupied West Bank, accompanied by home searches and field interrogations. At the same time, settlers simultaneously attacked Palestinians and their property. In the Ramallah and al-Bireh governorate, troops stormed the towns and villages of al-Mazraa al-Sharqiya, Sarda, Burqa, Deir Jarir, Beitunia, and Turmus Ayya, detaining one young man from al-Mazraa al-Sharqiya. Turmus Ayya was raided again following an assault by settlers on the town’s outskirts, during which they fired live rounds heavily toward Palestinian homes and set fire to residents’ land and property.
Raids Extend to Nablus, Jenin, and Qalqilya
According to Qudsn news network, occupation forces also stormed the city of Nablus from the direction of al-Sikka Street, raided the Hittin building near An-Najah National University Hospital, and questioned several residents on the spot, in addition to continuing to raid the town of Beita south of the city and searching multiple homes there. In Jenin, forces stormed the town of Qabatiya, arresting six young men. In Qalqilya, troops entered the city through the northern checkpoint, raided homes on al-Hadiqa Street and in the al-Naqqar neighborhood, searched a nearby shop, and detained a number of laborers from Gaza after beating them.
Detentions in Tubas, Tulkarm, and Bethlehem
In Tubas governorate, forces raided the city of Tubas and the town of Tammun, searching a number of homes during the operation. In Tulkarm, six Palestinians were detained after their homes were raided, including one woman, along with two released prisoners and a 54-year-old man. In Bethlehem, forces raided the al-Dawha area west of the city, searched several homes, and arrested two young men — one from Aida refugee camp and another from al-Dawha.
