Palestinian Astronomical Society revealed on Saturday’s evening the date of the first day of Eid Al-Fitr in Palestine.

The astronomical society said on its Facebook page: “The crescent of the month of Shawwal for the year 1444 AH will be born on Thursday morning, corresponding to April 20, at 06:12 minutes in the morning, and the sun will set on Thursday, corresponding to April 20, in the city of Jerusalem at exactly The time is 18:11 minutes, while the moon will set at exactly 18:37 minutes, it will stay 26 minutes, and its age at the moment of sunset will be 11 hours and 59 minutes.

It continued: “Based on astronomical standards, it is expected that the crescent will be seen from some Arab and Islamic countries, and since the crescent will set in all Arab and Islamic countries after sunset, it is expected that most Arab and Islamic countries will announce, Happy Eid Al-Fitr will be on Friday corresponding to the 21st.
