Israeli settlers seized a house belonging to the Basbous family after they forcibly expelled its residents in the Batn Al-Hawa neighborhood of Silwan, Jerusalem.
According to local reports, settlers began carrying out their belongings to the house, further entrenching their presence in the area.
In addition to seizing homes, the Peace Now movement stated that since the beginning of 2025, Israel approved the construction of 28,163 housing units for settlers, a record-breaking number for a single year.
