At least two Palestinians were killed and others injured on Saturday evening when Israeli aircraft bombed the Abu Hassana family home in Al-Bureij refugee camp, in the central Gaza Strip—marking the latest Israeli violation of the ceasefire agreement.
Initial footage showed extensive destruction at the targeted home, while ambulance and civil defense crews rushed to the scene to recover the victims and treat the wounded.
Among those killed was journalist Ahmed Samir Wishah; he was the brother of Mohammed Wishah, who had been killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting his vehicle last April.
The shelling came hours after seven Palestinians were killed and others wounded in a series of Israeli raids and attacks across various parts of the Strip.
In Gaza City, two young girls and their parents from the Al-Safadi family were killed in an airstrike targeting their home near the Al-Tayaran intersection in the city center. Eyewitnesses reported that the strike killed Hussein Al-Safadi, his wife Rana, and their two daughters—Zeina (6) and Lana (13)—and injured several other family members and civilians in the vicinity of the house.
In the northern part of the Strip, 38-year-old Palestinian Ahmed Munir Al-Zaza was killed, and a woman was wounded by a strike from an Israeli drone targeting pedestrians near the Al-Saftawi roundabout; another woman was also killed by Israeli fire in the town of Beit Lahia.
