Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant decided this evening to maintain the closure imposed on Palestinians in the West Bank and to continue closing the crossings with the Gaza Strip until the end of the Passover holiday, on the night of Wednesday-Thursday, due to the security escalation.
According to Hebrew media, Gallant also decided to cancel the civil procedures approved for the month of Ramadan (family visits in Israel, visits from Gaza to Jerusalem) and the entry of workers.
It pointed out that he instructed the military forces to assist the police in the occupied interior, to secure guards during the “Jewish Passover” holiday, which ends next Wednesday evening.
