Jerusalemite prisoner sentenced to 30 years in prison for allegedly running over Israeli soldiers
The occupation court sentenced, on Wednesday, prisoner Sanad Turman to 30 years in prison, on charges of carrying out a run-over attack in Jerusalem in February 2020, in which 12 soldiers were injured.
The court imposed on Turman another year’s imprisonment, suspended, and that he pay compensation to each of the 12 soldiers.
Sanad’s brother Muhammad had said that the conversation was about a traffic accident, not a run-over, and that he had brought Sanad to a police station and turned himself in.
