Tens of thousands of our people in Gaza and Rafah attended the funeral today, Tuesday 9/5/2023, of a number of martyrs, leaders of the Al-Quds Brigades and a number of their wives and children, in addition to the martyr Dr. Jamal Khaswan, his wife and their eldest son, amid great public anger and demands for a response to the cowardly assassination of the leaders of the Al-Quds Brigades and members of its military council.
The occupation forces committed at dawn today, Tuesday 9/5/2023, a heinous crime that led to the martyrdom of 13 martyrs, including 3 children and 4 women, as a result of the cowardly assassination of 3 of the leaders of the martyrs of the Al-Quds Brigades, and they are the martyr, the senior commander / Jihad Shaker Al-Ghannam – Secretary of the Military Council in Saraya Jerusalem, and the martyr, the great leader/ Tariq Muhammad Izz al-Din – one of the leaders of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, and the martyr, the great leader / Khalil Salah al-Bahtini – a member of the Military Council and commander of the northern region in the al-Quds Brigades.
For his part, the leader of the Islamic Jihad and the official in charge of its media office in the Gaza Strip, Daoud Shehab, said during the funeral prayer that the Palestinian response to the crime in Gaza, in which 13 martyrs were killed, will be unified so that the enemy understands once again that its attempts to divide the unity of the resistance will not be achieved.
Shehab said in a speech during the funeral of the martyrs of the aggression on Gaza: We swear by God to respond to this aggression and to continue fighting, steadfastness on the path of the martyrs, and the response to this crime will be unified to know the enemy and understand the lesson again.
Shehab added: “When 13 martyrs die, this is an aggression that targets every Palestinian, not just the Islamic Jihad.
In Rafah, large crowds mourned the body of the martyr, Commander Jihad Shaker Al-Ghannam, Secretary of the Military Council in the Al-Quds Brigades, and his wife.
