UAE invites Netanyahu and Herzog to attend “COP28” conference in Dubai
UAE leaders sent, on Saturday, two invitations to both the Israeli President and the Israeli Prime Minister to participate in the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28) in the Emirates, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).
The agency said, “The Emirati President, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, sent a written message to Israeli President Isaac Herzog, including an official invitation to participate in the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28), which is being hosted by the UAE at Dubai Expo City.” during the month of November next.
The Israeli president received the message during his meeting with Mohammed Mahmoud Al Khajah, the UAE ambassador to Israel, according to (WAM).
The agency added that “Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, sent an invitation to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, to participate in the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change COP28,” and handed the invitation to Netanyahu, the ambassador of the state.
