Four from East Jerusalem among 10 Palestinians detained by Israeli occupation forces

Four youths, including a minor, from East Jerusalem were among 10 Palestinians the Israeli occupation forces detained today in the occupied territories, according to various sources.

In occupied East Jerusalem, local sources said two youths, one of them a minor, were detained during raids at their family homes in al-Tur neighborhood, and two others were also detained in a different area also after raiding their family homes.

In the Hebron governorate in the south of the West Bank, two youths aged 20 years were detained at their family homes in the town of Sair, and a third was detained at Arroub refugee camp.

In the city of Jenin in the north of the West Bank, uncover Israeli soldiers sneaked into the city and abducted two Palestinians, one of them a former prisoner who spent more than nine years in Israeli jails for resisting the occupation and was released only last month, according to Palestinian security sources. Confrontations broke out between youths and the invading soldiers during the arrest.

In the village of al-Mughayyer, east of Ramallah, soldiers detained one person, a student at Birzeit University, at his home, according to a local official, during a raid of the village in which army bulldozers destroyed a park.
