A 20-year-old Palestinian identified as Mohammad Suleiman Mazara was today shot and killed in an illegal Israeli settlement east of occupied Jerusalem.
The Ministry of Health said it was informed by the Civil Affairs Authority of the death of Mazara by Israeli gunfire.
Reports said Mazara, from the town of Izariyeh, east of Jerusalem, was shot after opening fire at Israeli settlers in the settlement of Maale Adumim injuring several people.
Israeli medics said they treated four people with gunshot wounds, one of them in serious condition and the others in moderate condition.
