Palestinian youth succumbs to critical wounds shortly after being shot by Israeli forces in Ramallah-area town

A Palestinian youth succumbed to critical wounds shortly after being shot tonight by the Israeli army’s fire during an Israeli settlers and army attack against the village of Burqa, southeast of Ramallah, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent.

The Palestinian Red Crescent said its crews transported to a hospital a youth after he was shot and critically injured by Israeli force’s fire during a military incursion into the town of Burqa to protect the settler gangs in their attack against the village.

Local sources said settlers raided the western and northwestern parts of the town, leading to confrontations with the town residents. A nineteen-year-old youth, who was identified as Qosai Jammal Mi’tan, was shot and critically injured during the attack. He succumbed to his serious wounds shortly after reaching the hospital.

Two others were injured after being struck with rocks thrown by the settlers. The settler gangs also set fire to two vehicles during the attack.

They also brought their sheep to a plot of land there in an apparent attempt to seize it for the benefit of establishing a pastoral outpost.
