Israeli occupation forces open fire on farmers and shepherds in Gaza

Israeli occupation forces reportedly targeted farmers and shepherds in the eastern outskirts of Gaza City with live ammunition and toxic tear gas canisters this morning, according to local sources. No injuries were reported.

The Israeli forces, stationed in military watchtowers behind the border fence, unleashed a barrage of live bullets and toxic tear gas towards a group of farmers and shepherds to the east of the city.

This aggressive Israeli action compelled the farmers and shepherds to quit their activities and leave the area, added the correspondent.

The incident underscores a recurring pattern, as Israeli occupation forces have been consistently engaging in the deliberate targeting of farmers and civilians who approach the border areas to the north and east of the Gaza Strip.
