Death toll of Palestinians killed in Libya floods rises to 23

The number of Palestinians who were killed in the hurricane that struck eastern Libya has risen to 23, while dozens of Palestinian families are declared missing.

The political advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ambassador Ahmad Al-Deek, said that the Palestinian Embassy in Libya and its General Consulate in Benghazi confirmed the death of the family of Nasser Attiya Dohan, which consists of five members, and the family of Mahmoud Ahmed Shamiya and four of his brothers and mother, bringing the death toll of Palestinian victims to 23. .

He added that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through the Embassy of Palestine in Libya and its Consulate General in Benghazi, is following up on the conditions of the Palestinian community in Libya, noting that there are dozens of Palestinian families still missing.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs extended its deep condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims and wished safety for the missing.
