Israeli Forces Launch Wide Raids Across West Bank as Settler Attacks in Nablus Intensify

Israeli occupation forces carried out a wide-ranging campaign of raids across cities and towns in the occupied West Bank overnight into Sunday, involving home break-ins, arrests, and road closures, security sources reported. The operation coincided with a marked escalation in attacks by Israeli settlers against Palestinian residents and property, particularly in the Nablus governorate.

According to local monitors, the raids spanned multiple West Bank districts simultaneously, with Israeli military vehicles moving through residential areas, storming homes, and detaining a number of Palestinian men for field questioning before some were released and others taken into custody. Movement restrictions were also imposed at several checkpoints, disrupting residents’ access between towns.

Separately, in a companion report on settler violence, Quds News documented a sharp uptick in attacks on Palestinians and their property across the West Bank in the same 24-hour window. In the southern Nablus area, a group of settlers stormed the vicinity of a Palestinian home on Jabal Bir Qoza in the town of Beita, vandalizing the property and terrorizing residents in the area before withdrawing.

The dual pattern — military raids paired with settler rampages, often in the same districts on the same night — has become increasingly common in the West Bank in 2026, according to Palestinian rights monitors, who describe a climate in which settler attacks frequently go unchecked or are carried out under the protection of nearby Israeli troops. Residents in affected towns say the combination of night raids and settler incursions has left communities on constant alert, with families reporting disrupted sleep, damaged property, and a rising toll on children’s sense of safety.

No injuries were reported in Sunday’s West Bank operations, though Palestinian officials say the cumulative damage from repeated raids and settler attacks continues to mount across the territory.
