The municipality of Rahat in the occupied Palestinian territories announced a comprehensive strike, on Sunday, which includes the education system, in protest against the crime of execution by the occupation of the young man, Dr. Muhammad Khaled Al-Osaibi, in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque last night.
Houra Al-Haddad Council announced a period of two days, today, Saturday and tomorrow, in the aftermath of the cold-blooded execution, and the council said in a statement that “the fabricated allegations of the occupation police, that the deceased tried to snatch the weapon of one of its members, is an attempt to justify her crime, and contradicts all the testimonies of the worshipers.”
A 26-year-old man from the village of Houra in the Negev was shot dead by the Israeli occupation forces, just before midnight from Friday to Saturday, near Bab Al-Silsila in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem, while the occupation forces closed the doors of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Local sources in the Negev stated that the martyr was Muhammad al-Osaibi from the village of Houra. He is a medical student in Romania and recently graduated.
Witnesses in the Old City reported that members of the occupation police shot the young man after a fight with police officers who were beating a girl, and were trying to arrest her and remove her from the courtyards of the mosque near Bab al-Silsila.
The witnesses denied the claim of the occupation police that the young man tried to snatch the weapon of one of the soldiers at Bab al-Silsila near Al-Aqsa Mosque.
