A Palestinian man was killed and several others wounded, some of them critically, on Saturday evening after an Israeli drone strike hit the area around the “Abu Sharkh” roundabout, west of Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip.
The victim was identified as Hudhaifa Hussein al-Hawajri. Local outlets circulated footage showing the immediate aftermath of the strike, documenting the scene shortly after the attack occurred.
Shehab’s correspondent reported that one person was killed and four others wounded, including two in critical condition, upon arrival at Al-Shifa Medical Complex following the strike on the roundabout area in the northern part of the Strip.
The strike is the latest in a series of Israeli attacks reported in Gaza despite the ceasefire agreement, which mediators in Cairo continue working to stabilize and extend into a lasting arrangement between the parties.
