A strike in occupied Negev protesting execution of “Al-Osaibi”
The municipality of Rahat in the occupied Negev announced today, Saturday, a comprehensive strike, which includes the education system, except for special education, in protest against the Israeli occupation forces’ execution of the young doctor, Muhammad al-Osaibi, in the city of Jerusalem.
The municipality stated in a press statement: “The municipality of Rahat also supports the decisions of the Hoora Council, and the Ramadan entertainment activities in Rahat will be postponed for two days (Saturday and Sunday) in line with the decisions of the Hoora Council.”
Houra announced a two-day strike period, ending tomorrow evening, in the wake of the cold-blooded execution. The council said in a statement: “The fabricated allegations of the police, that the deceased tried to snatch the weapon of one of its members, is an attempt to justify her crime, and contradicts all the testimonies of the worshipers.”
In the context, the Tel al-Saba Local Council announced a comprehensive strike today, Saturday and tomorrow, Sunday, in the wake of the execution of the young doctor, Muhammad al-Osaibi, in Jerusalem, and demanded that the council “establish an investigation committee.”
