The Director General of the Reconstruction Committee, Imad Hamdan, told WAFA that settlers, under the protection of the occupation forces, demolished about five shops located in the market known as the Al-Ataq market, “Al-Rayesh” near Al-Sunniyya Mosque, inside the old Al-Hisbah area.

He added that this area has been completely closed and isolated by the occupation forces for more than 25 years, and citizens and its owners are prohibited from entering or accessing it. On the other hand, it is completely open to settlers, who, under the protection of the occupation forces, demolished 5 of it, in preparation for seizing the land and building units. New settlement in its place.
