Arab Parliament condemns Israeli occupation forces storming Bab Al-Rahma chapel

The Arab Parliament condemned the Israeli occupation forces’ storming of Bab al-Rahma chapel in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and its destruction of electrical installations, lighting and speakers inside.

In a statement issued yesterday, Sunday, the Arab Parliament denounced the blatant and continuous interference and deliberate sabotage of the maintenance and restoration work of the Islamic Endowments Department of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

It stressed, “The Bab al-Rahma chapel is an authentic part of the Al-Aqsa Mosque with its entire area of 144 dunums, and it will remain purely Islamic, not accepting division or partnership, and that it is the pure property of all Muslims.”

The Arab Parliament warned of the repercussions of such attacks and blatant provocative practices carried out by the occupation authorities in the Bab al-Rahma chapel and holy places, and the danger they pose to a new confrontation.

It also called on the international community and human rights organizations to assume their responsibilities and take firm stances to stop these attacks against Al-Aqsa and the holy places, without regard for their sanctity, and the need for the occupation authorities to adhere to the current situation in Jerusalem, and not to drag the region into a religious war that it cannot stop.
