13 martyrs, 20 injured as a result of Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip

The Ministry of Health announced, at dawn today, that 13 citizens were killed and 20 others were wounded, as a result of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip so far.

The ministry confirmed that the ambulance crews are still continuing to evacuate the victims from the areas targeted by the occupation.

After midnight on Monday/Tuesday, the Israeli occupation warplanes launched several raids on separate areas in the Gaza Strip.

The occupation army said that it carried out raids on “moving targets,” adding that the bombing targeted Islamic Jihad sites.

The Israeli raids targeted apartments and houses belonging to military leaders of the Islamic Jihad Movement in the Gaza Strip.

In turn, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, mourned its martyrs, who are the Secretary of the Military Council, Jihad Al-Ghanam, a member of the Military Council and commander of the northern region, Khalil Al-Bahtini, and one of the leaders of the military action, Tariq Ezz El-Din.

Many citizens were killed, including family members of the targeted children, women and others.

In turn, the Israeli home front asked the settlers in the Gaza Strip to enter the shelters immediately and until further notice.

And the occupation aircraft launched raids on a house near the Tower of David in Gaza City and another in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in the east, and also targeted two resistance sites in the city of Khan Yunis, in the south of the Strip.

The occupation planes also targeted a house in the Al-Jeneina neighborhood in the city of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, which resulted in its complete destruction.

The coordinator of the activities of the occupation government, Ghassan Elyan, announced the closure of the Erez and Kerem Abu Salem crossings to and from Israel immediately and until further notice.

The Minister of the Occupation Army, Yoav Gallant, announced the imposition of a “special situation” on the home front, and in light of assessing the situation, it was decided to make changes in the movement of roads around the Gaza Strip and to close the open roads to the Gaza side.

The occupation army radio reported that the army closed the roads adjacent to the border fence with Gaza, and Zikim Beach, and stopped the movement of trains between Ashkelon and Sderot, for fear of anti-missile and sniper fire.
