Number of targeted homes since Saturday’s dawn increased to 4

Israeli warplanes completely destroyed, on Saturday morning, a second house in the northern Gaza Strip, bringing the number of homes targeted since the dawn hours of this day to at least 4.

According to local sources, the al-Za’anin house belongs to the town of Beit Hanoun, in the northern Gaza Strip. It was shortly preceded by the destruction of another house, whose owner was not identified, in the town of Beit Lahiya.

According to eyewitnesses, the neighboring houses were severely damaged, while the Palestinian Ministry of Health did not issue a statement about any injuries.

At dawn on Saturday, the warplanes targeted a number of houses, which led to the complete destruction of some of them, including a house belonging to the Muhanna family in the center of Gaza City, and an apartment in the east of the city.

The government media office in Gaza said on Friday afternoon that 28 housing units had been completely demolished in different areas of the Strip since dawn last Tuesday.

He added, “About 37 housing units have become unfit for habitation due to severe damage, while about 495 housing units have been partially damaged.”

On Friday evening, the Israeli occupation army destroyed two houses, the first belonging to the Yassin family, south of Gaza City, and the second belonging to the Abu Obeid family in Deir Al-Balah.

Since dawn on Tuesday, the occupying state has carried out a blatant aggression against the Gaza Strip, which resulted in the death of 33 Palestinians, including 6 children and 3 women, and 6 leaders of the “Quds Brigades”, the military wing of the “Islamic Jihad” movement, while the Palestinian factions began, on Wednesday, to respond with missile barrages in response to the attack.
