Government media office in the Gaza Strip published the toll of the residential buildings destroyed by the Israeli occupation during the ongoing aggression.
The government media in Gaza said in a press statement: “15 residences were completely destroyed, a total of 51 housing units, and 940 housing units were damaged, of which 49 are unfit for habitation.”
The state media added, “The number of martyrs as a result of the aggression has so far reached 33, 30% of whom are women and children, and 147 citizens, 60% of whom are women and children, were injured.”
He continued: “The initial estimate of the losses as a result of the aggression on Gaza amounted to about 5 million dollars. The agricultural sector was exposed as a result of the aggression to direct losses and damages exceeding 3 million dollars, as a result of preventing the export of more than 1,000 tons of agricultural products.”
The government media noted that the Ministry of Social Development provided urgent relief and cash assistance to about 100 families who lost their homes, and provided rent allowance and temporary housing for these families.
He stated, “The national number 109 received more than 5,020 calls over the past days, and they were transferred to the competent authorities for follow-up and necessary action,” adding: “The Civil Defense carried out 40 field work missions during the past 24 hours.”
