President Mahmoud Abbas congratulated Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on his re-election as President of the Republic of Turkey.
In the congratulatory message, the president said: “We are pleased on the occasion of your victory and re-election as President of the sisterly Republic of Turkey for a new presidential term, and the victory of your forthcoming party, the Justice and Development Party, in the first place in the Turkish Parliament, and the victory of the People’s Alliance led by the party in the majority in Parliament, to send you and through you To the brotherly Turkish people, in the name of the state and people of Palestine and in my own name, with the warmest expressions of heartfelt congratulations and fraternal blessings; confident that, with the grace of God and your wisdom and courage, you will continue the path of development and achieve the great achievements of Turkey and its brotherly people.
His Excellency expressed his pride in the historical relations of brotherhood and solidarity that unite the two countries and peoples, appreciating President Erdogan’s principled and steadfast stances in supporting our people and their just cause.
The head of the political bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, congratulated Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on winning a second term.

He added, “This success came with the confidence he gained due to the achievements for the sake of Turkey’s renaissance.”
He continued, “We are confident that this victory will be an element of unification for the Turkish people, because Turkey’s unity and renaissance is a basic and major support for ending the Israeli occupation, liberating Jerusalem, the capital of our state, and the right of return for refugees.”
The Prime Minister said: “The friendship between Turkey and Palestine is not new, and it was established during Erdogan’s era, and the relationship between them and President Mahmoud Abbas is solid.”
And he added, “I wish him success for the sake of the elevation, renaissance and well-being of the friendly Turkish people.”
The preacher of Al-Aqsa, Sheikh Ikrima Sabri, and the deputy of the Islamic Movement in the Palestinian interior, Sheikh Kamal Al-Khatib, also congratulated Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on his victory in the Turkish presidential elections.
The Presidency of the Palestinian Legislative Council congratulated the Republic of Turkey on the success of the Turkish presidential and parliamentary elections.

Bahr expressed his confidence and hope that the great success in these elections would be a new start towards more prosperity, realizing the aspirations of the brotherly Turkish people, and strengthening Turkey’s leading position at the level of the Islamic nation and the world.
