Arab Parliament calls to hold Israel accountable for its crimes against Palestinian people

The Arab Parliament called on the international community and the Security Council to hold the Israeli occupation authorities accountable for their crimes and violations against the Palestinian people, once again calling for urgent international protection.

The Arab Parliament said, in a press statement today, Monday, on the occasion of the 56th anniversary of the Naksa, “The anniversary of the Naksa comes in conjunction with the dangerous and unprecedented escalation of the extreme right-wing occupation government and its settlers against the city of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque, the desecration of Islamic and Christian sanctities, the escalation of settlement activity through forced displacement, and the isolation of Cities, house demolitions, expulsion of citizens, daily and repeated bloody raids on cities in the West Bank and Jerusalem, and the policy of field executions against citizens.

It also called on the parliaments and unions of the world to assume their responsibilities to resolve the conflict, according to the principle of the two-state solution, and to support the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, in accordance with the rules of international law, international humanitarian law and the Fourth Geneva Convention, foremost of which is the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with the city of Jerusalem as its capital.
