22 Palestinians have been Monday injured, five of them in critical condition, during an Israeli military raid in the occupied West Bank city and refugee camp of Jenin.
Large Israeli army units raided the city and camp, sparking confrontations with Palestinians, during which the soldiers fired live bullets and sound and toxic gas canisters.
Wissam Baker, head of the Jenin Governmental Hospital, said that 13 Palestinians were injured by Israeli gunfire, five of whom were reported to be critical.
Israeli bulldozers destroyed a water carrier line in the Jabriyat neighborhood, and caused power outages in large parts of Jenin camp.
The occupation forces stormed the house of Musab al-Barmaki in the al-Jabriyat neighborhood, and used its residents as a human shield.
Local sources added that the occupation forces detained two Palestinian youths during the ongoing aggression against the city of Jenin and its camp.
