Israeli occupation forces today opened fire and shot tear gas at Palestinians demonstrating at the northern Gaza separation fence, injuring five people from bullets and many others suffocated from the tear gas inhalation.
Five people were admitted to Shifa Hospital, west of Gaza City, for treatment from bullet wounds.
Dozens of people demonstrated near the border fence in support of Palestinian freedom fighters incarcerated in Israel and in protest against Israel’s treatment of the freedom fighters, as well as against the 17-year-long Israeli siege imposed on the Gaza Strip.
