Israeli settlers burned today, Monday, trees in the city of Nablus, while the occupation forces demolished houses in Jericho and Bethlehem, and stormed the archaeological site in Sebastia, northwest of Nablus.
A number of settlers infiltrated the lands of the evacuated “Homesh” settlement in Nablus, and burned palm trees planted in the town’s cemetery, and the residents confronted them, amid clashes erupting in the area.
The town witnesses almost daily attacks by settlers, in an attempt to impose a fait accompli after their decision to return to the “Homesh” lands vacated since 2005.
In Bethlehem, the occupation forces demolished a house in the village of Artas, south of the city. The occupation forces stormed the “Wadi Amira” area and demolished a 150-square-meter house belonging to Ibrahim Mahmoud Ayesh, under the pretext of not having a permit.
The occupation forces also demolished an inhabited house east of Jericho, after storming the “Sama Jericho” area, reinforced by military vehicles.
The area of the house is estimated at 150 square meters, and it belonged to a Jerusalemite citizen, and the occupation demolished it under the pretext of not having a permit.
In a related context, the occupation forces raided the archaeological site in the town of Sebastia, northwest of Nablus.
Media sources indicated that the occupation forces stormed the archaeological site in the town, amidst firing bullets and tear gas.
