Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem considered that the occupation army’s shooting of a Palestinian youth at one of the gates of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque is part of the religious war waged by the occupation against our people and our sanctities.
Qassem said in a press statement that the occupation is trying to take revenge on our people in Jerusalem after the roaring march of our masses in the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque during Friday prayers.
He stressed that this blood would be fuel for escalating the struggle against the Zionist Judaization policy, which would preserve the Al-Aqsa Mosque’s Palestinian, Arab-Islamic identity.
On Friday evening, the occupation forces opened fire on a young man who tried to defend a station at Chain Gate, seriously wounding him.
