27 ministers, Knesset members to participate in demonstration in West Bank tomorrow

Settlement organizations revealed today the intention of 27 ministers and Knesset members to participate in the major demonstration that will be organized tomorrow at the Za’tara checkpoint, south of Nablus, and up to the “Avitar” outpost built on Mount Sabih from the lands of the nearby town of Beita.

And the Hebrew Channel 7 reported that 7 ministers confirmed their attendance at the demonstration, headed by the extremist Finance Minister “Bezliel Smotrich” and the extremist Minister of National Security “Itamar Ben Gvir.” Twenty right-wing Knesset members will also participate in the demonstration, which was described as a large one, with the aim of pressuring the settlers’ return to the outpost.

According to Channel 7, quoting Yossi Dagan, the official in charge of settlements in the northern West Bank, he welcomes the participation of all this number of politicians in the demonstration, calling on them to implement their electoral program by returning the settlers to the outpost that they vacated about two years ago in agreement with the previous government.

The settlers and demonstrators are calling for a return to the aforementioned outpost after the “Civil Administration” finishes the land surveying process.

It is noteworthy that the settlers established the “Avitar” outpost in early May 2021, south of Nablus, in the northern West Bank.
