20,000 worshipers perform Isha’a and Tarawih prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque

About 20,000 worshipers performed the Isha and Tarawih prayers in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, this evening, Tuesday, despite the strict military measures imposed by the Israeli occupation on the arrival of worshipers to the mosque and at its gates.

In the past few days, Al-Aqsa Mosque witnessed brutal incursions, including assaults on worshipers in i’tikaaf with batons, rifle butts, rubber bullets, and poison gas bombs, forcing them to leave its courtyards by force, and arresting hundreds.

This morning, 788 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque, under heavy security from the occupation police, on the occasion of the Jewish “Passover”.

And the Prime Minister of the occupation government, Benjamin Netanyahu, decided this evening to suspend settler incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque, starting from tomorrow until the end of Ramadan, during the last ten days of Ramadan.

According to the data reported by settlement organizations, the number of settlers storming Al-Aqsa Mosque during the Jewish “Passover” this year increased by more than 60%, compared to the number of those who stormed last year.
