Thousands of citizens in the Gaza Strip performed, on Friday morning, the blessed Eid al-Fitr prayer in the open in the various mosques and squares of the Strip, in commemoration of the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace.
Gazan citizens, including entire families that included men, women and children, began to flock to the squares and mosques, since the dawn hours, amidst the Eid takbeers and greetings.
The preachers of the Eid prayer emphasized the ties of kinship, visiting the families of the martyrs, the wounded, and the prisoners, and spreading the culture of national unity and close ranks, in light of the continuous Israeli attacks on the Palestinian people in various cities.
