The Palestine Information Center – Mouta – monitored (987) acts of resistance in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem during the month of April, which resulted in the killing of 3 settlers and the wounding of 41 settler soldiers, while 11 citizens were killed by the fire of the occupation and settlers during the same month.

Among (987) acts of resistance, the center’s report monitored (139) shootings and armed clashes with the occupation forces, (48, 39) of which were carried out in Jenin and Nablus, respectively.

The martyr Muhammad Baradiya (23 years old) from the town of Surif started last April by carrying out a run-over operation targeting the occupation soldiers near the entrance to the town of Beit Ummar in Hebron, which resulted in the injury of (3) soldiers, and the martyrdom of the perpetrator.

Also, on the seventh of the month, resistance fighters carried out a qualitative shooting operation in the Al-Hamra area in the Jordan Valley, in the northeastern West Bank, which resulted in the killing of two settlers and seriously wounding a third, which led to her death several days later, while the perpetrators withdrew safely.

On the sixth of April, the resistance launched dozens of “Katyusha” and “Grad” missiles from southern Lebanon at the occupation entity, targeting the Galilee and Tel Aviv regions in the occupied interior, in response to the occupation forces’ storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque in the middle of the holy month of Ramadan.

As a result, (3) settlers were injured, and fires broke out in several areas, causing damage as a result of the rockets.

The boy, Ibrahim Zamar (15 years), from the Askar camp in Nablus, carried out a shooting attack in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem, which resulted in the injury of two settlers, and the arrest of the perpetrator a day after carrying out the operation on 4/19.

The martyr Hatem Abu Najma (39 years old) from Beit Safafa in Jerusalem also carried out a run-over attack on Jaffa Street in Jerusalem, which resulted in the injury of (8) settlers, one of them seriously, and the death of the perpetrator.

The report also monitored (5) run-over or attempted run-over operations, (4) stabbing or attempted stabbing operations, while the number of planting or throwing explosive devices reached (36) operations, and (14) firing explosives at occupation targets, and (14) operations. (8) The process of burning military installations, vehicles and places, and (8) the destruction of military vehicles and equipment.

At the same time, the West Bank witnessed (365) direct confrontations with the occupation, hundreds of stone-throwing operations at the occupation forces and settlers, (23) attacks by Molotov cocktails, and (133) operations to respond to settler attacks throughout the West Bank.

While the Palestinians’ demonstrations continued to demand their rights and protest against the various crimes of the occupation within (20) popular demonstrations.

The governorates of Nablus, Jerusalem, and Jenin witnessed the highest number of resistance operations, reaching (175, 158, and 155), respectively.
