“Israel” to build 1,248 new settlement units in West Bank

The Israeli occupation authorities issued new tenders to build about 1,248 settlement units in Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Hebron, and areas in the northern West Bank.

According to the published tenders, these new settlement units will be distributed among the settlements of: “Beitar Illit”, “Efrat”, “Kiryat Arba”, “Ma’ale Ephraim” and “Karnei Shomron”, in addition to 89 units in the “Gilo” settlement located west of the city. Occupied Jerusalem.

The occupation authorities continue the policy of settlement expansion despite repeated Arab and international calls to stop settlement projects in the Palestinian territories, as the extremist Israeli government led by Benjamin Netanyahu is moving forward with plans for settlement expansion since its formation in late December.
